Marcelo recently finished the script of ALL-INCLUSIVE, which will be his feature film debut as a director, for Academy-Award winning producer Mark Johnson (RAIN MAN, CHRONICLES OF NARNIA, BREAKING BAD), producer Alex Zito (Cannes-winner LAS ACACIAS), and producer Pola Zito (Academy Award-nominee WILD TALES). His screenwriting work, both in English and Spanish, has been recognized with a British Academy of Film and Television (BAFTA / LA) Fellowship and a Sloan Film Award, among others. This includes the Oscar-nominated documentary CHAU, BEYOND THE LINES (co-writer and executive producer) and the short film IN THE CLOUDS (writer, director, producer), winner of 35 international awards. His work as a director, writer, and producer has appeared at over 180 film festivals worldwide and has won or been nominated for many festival and industry awards. to study at UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television, where he received his Master's degree in screenwriting.
After producing and directing commercials and music videos, he moved to the U.S. Marcelo grew up and attended film school in Córdoba, Argentina.
